As COVID-19 continues to spread in our community we are taking measures to continue to provide high quality eye care and keep you and your loved ones safe.

What We Are Doing:

  • We strictly follow the guidelines of the CDC, the Virginia Department of Health and the American Academy of Ophthalmology
  • All our staff uses CDC-approved masks and other Protective Personal Equipment
  • Sanitize all common areas, exam lanes, medical equipment after each patient
  • Make sure social distancing is maintained in the waiting room and other common areas
  • Sanitize eye-wear after each fitting in the optical shop
  • Reschedule patients that have signs of COVID-19 or have been tested positive
  • Installed UVC-lights in our vent systems. This type of light has been shown to kill viruses in less than 30 seconds
  • We have always used antiviral HVAC filters
  • Our HVAC fans run continuously to maximize air filtration and disinfection of air
  •  Our office is thoroughly sanitized every day by a professional team

What We Need You To Do:

  • Reschedule your appointment if:
    •  If you have ANY symptoms of COVID-19:
      • fever
      • cough 
      • chest pain
      • loss of smell/taste
    • have been in recent contact with someone who has any of these symtoms or tested positive for COVID-19
    • tested positive for COVID within the past 4 weeks.
  • Wear a mask to your appointment. Gloves are optional.
  • Have companions wait outside while you are seen, unless needed for assistance or mobility.
